Lint for Lab

Avoid the following "trivial" mistakes! Failure to do so will result in loss of points!

date, partner, lab title missing
name/unit missing on plot axis (hand written labels are OK)
name/unit missing on table column
missing sample calculation (particularly for spreadsheet columns; self document!)
measurement recorded without error or unit
improper number of digits in a final-result number or its error
- error: never more than two significant digits; one is always OK
- number: the rightmost displayed digit in the number should match (in place value) the rightmost displayed digit in the error.
e.g., 12.3657±.08356 is 12.37±.08 or 12.366±.084 all other answers are wrong!
missing a section (purpose, theory, procedure, diagram, results, critique)
missing hardcopy fit report
failing the "shake test" (firmly tape each printout to a page, do not stack printouts on a page)
